Some countries have accused TikTok of passing on user data to the Chinese government and endangering national security. These concerns have led to the use being banned or restricted in several countries.

In addition, TikTok is banned on devices for members of the European Parliament, the European Commission and the EU Council, in all 27 members of the European Union.

IIn the USA, there is a ban on devices of federal employees in 34 states.

That concerns: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming

And in Montana, TikTok is banned on all devices.
